Very enchanting, nice effect. Only concern was turning them Off, found the instructions a bit gray in details on how too. A very time consuming effort.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Rebekah worst gift ever gave
normally a great catalog shopper, this was the worst gift ive ever bought, so embarrassing i had to run out and buy other gifts to go with it as there was no time to return it and didn't want to waste the extra $ to mail it back . the 10 small plastic ball lights unbelievably have no on/off switch! and very hard to open to then get to use a screwdriver to push out 2 tiny batteries to turn them off; or replace them, thus they burned out in two days! the batteries cost more to replace than even the expensive fairey lights. impossible to string as recommended and one didnt even work from the beginning. only good thing for the $25+shipping was the good laugh my good natured friend had out of the 'gift'.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Audrey Amazing effect
I purchased 3 sets of these lights to add to my daughter's wedding centerpieces to give a unique look to her enchanted forest theme. The centerpieces utilized birdcages and contained fairies and dragons and artifical flowers. The faux fireflies, via these lights made an amazing statement in each display. One was used in each unit, with just the right amount of light present. Others were added to dry arrangements of decorated willow branches and were mezmerizing. Directions for use were very clear with actual illustrations to aid the user. They are mildly fussy to set up and once lit, difficult to turn off-there is no on/off switch and the process must be accomplished by battery manipulation. Not easy for arthritic hands. But, these lights were worth every penny spent upon them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Tina replacement batteries expensive
the quality of light is bright and the blinking/fading effect is enchanting.
when I priced replacement batteries, it seems it would cost more than $2 per ball to replace them. It might be more economical to buy new balls!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Andrea Okay the idea is wonderful. However they come 10 in a pkg. each ball is very small. Each one has to be opened to pull tab and start battery. & When you start the battery they do not turn off.
So the idea is if you buy many for a party you will need help opening all of the ball and starting the batteries and you need to be ready to use them.
