Buddy Booster Seat
My car stays clean
I have a 23 lb Rat Terrier that likes to sit on my lap while I drive. Not a good idea. I go to the barn several times a week and he comes home muddy and destroys my car everytime. I hated to confine him to the back of the vehicle. He's my buddy. Now he jumps in the car and sits up and and can see out. He is a little big for the sit but he can even curl up and lie down. He is safer from sudden stops and my car is clean. I put him in it and gave him a liver treat and told him to stay. I went in the house for 15 minutes came out and he was still there and he was not tied in. Of course, he is very smart. Last week I had left the door open to the car while at the barn and came out and found my friend's german pointer (quite large dog) sitting with his butt in the seat and his front legs of course on the regular car seat looking quite happy. Love it!!!

Great idea, not so well executed
My only problem with our Schnauzer seat is that the retaining straps holding the seat to the car are really chintzy. I have replaced them with heavier duty ones, but the attach points seem rather weak also. Not sure it would hold up in an accident. But, she loves it (the dog),

Love this seat. My little malti-poo loves it too. He climbs in as soon as we get into the car. I hook his harness to the clip so that he can't jump or get tossed out and we are ready to go. I hesitated at first becasue of the price, but I am glad I purchased it. Adjustable straps work in the back seat, too.
