Wine Cork Trivet
Fun hostess gift!
I've given this item as a hostess gift and it was much appreciated. I bought two more to have in reserve--never know when I'll need one!

I have purchased 5 of these so far. Two of them have been gifts. Have made one for myself with the intent to make another for me, and the fifth one is a spare for a last minute gift! Love them!

Not well crafted
great idea, but poorly made. the spot welds that connect each corkscrew to the central ring are pretty weak, and should have been made from a stronger/thicker metal of some kind. One broke off attempting to screw on a cork, and I had to order a replacement. Would be a much nicer product if it was more sturdy and stronger. Just feels chintzy it's so light (and thus, fragile).

Stems Break Off Too Easily
Bought 3 as Christmas gifts. Gift #1 -- With twisting on of first natural soft cork, the cork screw stem broke off the center circle. Some instructions should be included about perhaps holding stem of cork screw with piers to avoid twisting off when screwing on the corks. Sent back for replacement ... and have warned other trivet recipients about very carefully twisting on the corks!

This is a fun way to use corks.
These make great hostess gifts and stocking stuffers. Pair with a bottle of good wine and you have a terrific gift.
